Triple Carnivorous Plants Combo

The Triple Carnivorous Plants Combo comes with 3 different Venus Flytraps. The Venus Flytrap is the most well-known carnivorous plant and rightly so. Being one of the only plants in the world that can count thanks to its intricate trap design and various types of teeth and beautiful colours inside and out, this truly is a marvelous plant.

The trap on a Venus Flytrap can open and close 3 to 4 times, thereafter that trap dies. Once closed the trap can take 1 to 2 days to fully open up and if it has caught something, it can take up to 14 days to open up again.

Each plant comes in a 10cm square pot.

Care instructions for Venus Flytrap:

• Light, these plants require a minimum of 4 hours of direct sunlight. Preferably 6 to 8 hours of morning sun is ideal.
• Water, ¼ to ½ of the pot must always stand in water. Use the tray method and don’t top water as that washes off the dew(mucilage) of the sundew. Do not mist the sundew, it will produce its own dew. Only use Oasis or Rainwater.
• Soil, the plants already come in the right soil. If you want to repot, please use our ProCp Mix, regular potting soils contain fertiliser which will kill your plant. Do Not Fertilise.
• The Venus Flytrap goes dormant in winter, thereafter it produces a flower stalk in spring, cut the flower stalk when it is 2.5cm long otherwise it can kill your plant.
