Camel Milk Powder is sourced from camels that browse on natural vegetation in the Kalahari, South Africa. The powder has a shelf life of 12 months, and 1kg makes 10 litres of milk. Once reconstituted, it should be consumed within 5 days. Our camel milk is one of the most nutritious and ethically produced milks available in South Africa. This natural whole milk has nothing added or removed.
Camel milk is closer to human milk than any other ruminant milk, containing low cholesterol and low sugar, but high in minerals such as sodium, potassium, iron, copper, zinc, and magnesium, as well as Vitamin C. It is free from A1 Beta Casein and Beta-lactoglobulin, the proteins in cow’s milk that cause allergic reactions. Camel milk also contains a rich array of immune-boosting proteins such as lactoferrin, immunoglobulins, and lysozyme. Known for its nutritional and health-supporting properties, camel milk has been part of Middle Eastern culture for centuries and has achieved superfood status.
Our camel milk powder is made from pasteurised milk that has been spray-dried. It is naturally sweet-tasting, gluten-free, additive-free, Keto and Paleo friendly, and Halal.
Directions for Use:
To reconstitute, add 3 tablespoons of powder to a glass of lukewarm water and mix with a blending stick or smoothie maker. Once reconstituted, consume within 5 days. Alternatively, add the powder directly to your smoothies, shakes, or hot beverages.
